Training & Development Internship
Summer 2027 - May 17th through August 13th
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Level: Intern
Division / Department: HR/Training & Development
Reporting to position: Member & Retailer Education Specialist
About the Role:
The Training and Development Intern will focus on training and event management. After learning about our programs and processes, they will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development, facilitate live training, and support the event planning process for our in-person and virtual training programs.
This is a temporary position beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. This internship is paid on an hourly basis.
No relocation is offered, candidates must be local to the Fort Wayne, Indiana area for the Summer 2027 timeframe.
The Intern may also be able to use this opportunity towards university/college credit.
Responsibilities include:

Identify opportunities to promote training programs

Conduct thorough research to identify potential speakers for training sessions

Identify opportunities for training and development
-
Review and edit training content
-
Develop and implement online training modules
-
Uphold established writing and visual brand standards in all training materials

Support the event planning process
Education and Experience:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, organizational leadership, instructional design, education, or a related field
Skills and Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong attention to detail
-
Ability to work independently and in collaborative settings

Ability to lead projects

Ability to create videos and digital assets for training courses
