Warehouse Worker - Bagel Picking - Day Shift

Position: Bagel Picking

Schedules Available: Sunday-Wednesday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Wage: $20.32 per hour

Responsibilities of this role:

• Picking/packing bagel orders.

• Operation runs on an assembly line pick process and is fast paced.

• On your feet and moving for the duration of your shift.

• Working in ambient temperature, range could very between 55-75 degrees.

• On your feet and moving for the duration of your shift.

• Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking.

• Pushing/pulling stacks of bagels to assigned pack area.

• Pushing/pulling stacks of bagels from trailer to staging area.

• Loading/offloading full and empty bagel from and/or onto trailers.

• At all times, follow all SOP’s while also adhering GMP policies.

• Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs. (on wheels).

• Performing other duties as assigned to include but not limited to; stamping/coding.

• Product, labeling and removing labels from plastic totes, general warehouse clean up.

Qualifications:

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required

• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required

• Flexible to work overtime preferred

• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required

• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
