Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis in Latin America. This individual will partner closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure enterprise applications meet both business and technical requirements prior to release. Responsibilities include reviewing requirements, identifying testing risks, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases, and performing manual functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing across multiple applications. The Senior QA Engineer will validate application functionality, APIs, and backend data, document and track defects through resolution, and support release readiness activities to help ensure high-quality deployments. This person will also coordinate UAT efforts with business users, communicate testing progress and quality risks to project stakeholders, and provide recommendations related to production readiness. The ideal candidate is a strong manual tester who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and can effectively manage multiple testing initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on Manual QA testing experience, with 7+ years strongly preferred.
  • Experience testing complex enterprise applications and validating end-to-end business workflows.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, and testing best practices.
  • Strong communication, analytical skills, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst or in a highly business-facing role.
  • Exposure to automated testing tools and frameworks.
