Ultradent, a global name in oral health, has seven state-of-the art facilities that covers close to a million square feet of space that houses manufacturing operations, cGMP space, shipping facilities, print shop, machine shop, analytical/quality control laboratories and corporate offices.

We are looking for a Facilities Technician II to be responsible for performing routine operations, maintenance and repairs on physical plant systems/components and maintaining clean work/shop areas to help keep these facilities running. This position will follow inventory control and part procurement procedures while maintaining a safe work environment and wearing appropriate PPE. The technician is also responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate and timely service!

Important job responsibilities:

  • Performs general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work and appliance repairs.

  • Performs painting and refurbishing projects

  • Performs routine preventive maintenance

  • Performs minor building and equipment repairs.

  • Assists, during winter, with snow removal efforts.

  • Works in a safe manner to prevent injury to self and others.

  • Does routine maintenance on company vehicles when assigned.\

  • Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Maintain the buildings utilizing skills including but not limited to framing, sheetrock, Painting, flooring and other daily maintenance tasks

  • Maintain building equipment through preventative maintenance program

  • Pick-up and deliver materials as needed.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • High school graduate or GED with valid driver license and clean driving record.

  • Minimum 2 years facility and maintenance experience or similar construction experience

  • Familiar with power tools and safety requirements.

  • Basic math and computer skills needed.

  • Must have good communication skills.

  • Must have strong people skills

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Must be prepared for moderate to heavy physical effort; being exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow); work in areas with hazardous equipment and moving parts; work on roof tops and other high places

  • Must have ability to set up and climb ladders safely with tools and equipment necessary for assigned work

  • Must be able to walk, stand and stoop for an extended period of time (over 80% of the time)
