Location: Stratford, CT

This is a 2nd shift position. Starting time will be 2PM to 12:30AM.

Job Description

Position Responsibilities

  • Able to work from engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, technical documents and formal direction.

  • Performs a variety of duties in the assembly, fabrication, and maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical assemblies.

  • Experience with hand tools to assemble and repair machinery.

  • Experience with handheld power tools.

  • Experience safely using stationary power tools, bandsaw, chop saw, hydraulic press.

  • Possess technical skills and abilities to work in a team environment with minimal supervision or direction.

  • May be needed to perform duties around hazardous conditions while maintaining a safe working environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience operating non-automated stand-alone equipment (drill press, band saw, chop saw, hydraulic press).

  • Prior experience associated with aviation hydraulics and mechanical assemblies.

  • Prior experience associated with large industrial hydraulic power supplies and distribution systems.

  • Experience with fabricating hydraulic pipes and hoses.

  • Experience associated with power trains and rotor systems.

  • Experience with precision measurement equipment.

  • Experience reading and working to engineering documents.
