Job Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports CleanSpark’s hiring needs by managing full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions and partnering with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner on complex, technical, and leadership searches. This role is responsible for building candidate pipelines, screening and evaluating talent, coordinating an efficient hiring process, and providing hiring managers with clear candidate recommendations.

In addition to recruiting responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will help improve the tools, templates, workflows, and processes used by the Talent Acquisition team. This is a hands-on role for a developing recruiter who can independently manage day-to-day hiring activities, identify opportunities for improvement, and take on increasingly complex work as their business knowledge and recruiting capabilities grow.

Key Requirements

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned hourly, early-career, and professional positions, from intake and job posting through offer acceptance.

  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify position requirements, refine job descriptions, develop sourcing strategies, and establish interview plans.

  • Build candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, applications, employee referrals, professional networks, community partnerships, and early-career outreach.

  • Review resumes and conduct candidate screens to assess qualifications, experience, motivation, compensation expectations, availability, and alignment with the role.

  • Prepare concise candidate summaries and recommendations that provide hiring managers with meaningful context beyond the resume.

  • Present qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and maintain appropriate follow-up to keep hiring processes moving forward.

  • Provide candidates with timely, transparent, and professional communication throughout the recruiting process.

  • Maintain complete and accurate candidate records in Lever, including stages, notes, dispositions, tags, feedback, and offer-related information.

  • Review and improve Lever workflows, templates, candidate communications, tags, and reporting practices to increase consistency, efficiency, and usability.

  • Identify recruiting bottlenecks or process gaps and recommend practical solutions to improve the candidate and hiring-manager experience.

  • Implement and test approved process improvements, document updated procedures, and monitor adoption and results.

  • Support the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with market research, talent mapping, targeted sourcing, and candidate coordination for confidential, hard-to-fill, or leadership searches.

  • Prepare recruiting updates and assist with tracking pipeline activity, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, interview progress, and offer outcomes.

  • Coordinate pre-employment activities, including offer documentation, background checks, and the transition of new hires into onboarding.

  • Support Talent Acquisition initiatives such as early-career and campus recruiting, recruiting events, employer-brand messaging, hiring-manager resources, and process documentation.

  • Maintain compliance with internal recruiting processes and applicable employment requirements, escalating questions or risks when appropriate.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This role requires professionalism, respect, strong communication, and the ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented, inclusive environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting recruitment across multiple locations or states.

  • Experience with Lever or a comparable Applicant Tracking System.

  • Exposure to operational, technical, corporate, or early-career hiring.

  • Familiarity with recruiting metrics, reporting, employer branding, and pipeline-building initiatives.

  • Experience updating recruiting templates, workflows, process documentation, or candidate communications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

This position may involve duties that require operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites. As such, candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
