Full job description

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Engineers to join their team in Providence RI. The Engineers will develop, implement, and analyzes manufacturing engineering plans and projects and communicates them to internal and external customers. Defines, develops and transfers manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems. Develops manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. Actively participates with engineering project teams in order to coordinate the release of new products. Estimates and tracks manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. The shift is 8am to 5:30pm with the flex to work 12 hour shifts if needed.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience. Looking for someone with strong initiative, energy, and a willingness to get their hands dirty. Mechanical aptitude is more important than extensive electrical expertise. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred and generally required. Exceptions may be considered for exceptional candidates or individuals actively pursuing a degree while demonstrating top-tier experience. GD&T knowledge and experience electromechanical and fiber optics experience SAP knowledge Soldering experience
