- Own assigned reporting and BI features from requirements clarification through implementation and release
- Create Engineering Design Documents when appropriate and coordinate potential technical impacts across the team
- Apply query-performance benchmarks, SQL-review standards, and release-readiness requirements to completed work
- Use Claude Code and related AI-enabled development practices in the daily engineering workflow
- Work toward organizational targets of at least 50% AI-authored pull requests and 95% AI-assisted code-review adoption
- Partner with the Lead Engineer and Product Management to define, scope, and sequence reporting requirements
- Engage client stakeholders to clarify reporting needs, identify underlying business problems, and recommend scalable platform solutions
- Coordinate with matrixed QA engineers on testing, quality gates, and release readiness
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Lead Engineers, and Principal Engineers on data architecture and cross-team technical decisions Escalate delivery risks, technical blockers, and scope concerns early and clearly
