Job Description

This person will provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications. Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.

The salary range for this role is 95k-130k based on experience level.

Skills and Requirements

8 to 10 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) discipline. 5+ years of full systems development lifecycle experience building custom web applications using JavaScript, HTML . 5+ years of technical experience in working with Java, Experience with OpenText Exstream, MySQL. 5 to 7 years of experience defining and documenting business and technical requirements, developing and testing software for corporations (financial/insurance sector preferred). Must have experience in working with internal resources and be flexible to utilize an offshore delivery center operating in a time zone different from the primary work location. Must have experience directing and supervising third-party suppliers in the fulfillment of Projects or application support. Must have experience with establishing operational and process controls to measure and verify that established processes, procedures and audit controls are followed. Experience required in monitoring and managing SLAs and exceeding customer expectations with large volumes of request. Progressive experience in information technology with emphasis in Software Development and Quality Assurance.
