Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST of NAVBASE POINT LOMA.

Duties

  • You will serve as the Records and Information Management Specialist on the staff.
  • You will be responsible for oversight and preparation and timely submission of data for monthly and quarterly Review and Analysis Program for all required management and manpower reports.
  • You will assist in providing a full range of advisory and analytical services to all levels of Installation Command and Staff involving budget and manpower initiatives.
  • You will review, analyze, and evaluate projects for determining efficient solutions for accomplishing mission and goals of organization.
  • You will coordinate with the DTS Finance Defense Travel Administrators to perform a variety of budgetary and administrative functions in implementing the travel program, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1). Ability to provide advisory and analytical services for budget and manpower initiatives and to evaluate changes in program plans. 2). Ability to exhibit tact, diplomacy, and courtesy when dealing with all levels of management and staff, both internal and external to the command. 3). Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with senior management and represent the command with tact, diplomacy, and courtesy. 4). Provide full range of advisory and analytical services to all levels of staff involving budget and manpower initiatives. 5). Maintain a well-organized and complete office, data, and project files.
