Grundy County Memorial Hospital Department: Administration Shift/Schedule: Full Time | 40 Hours per Week | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Strategic Program & Project Management

• Partner with Senior Leadership and department leaders to translate strategic priorities into clear project plans, milestones, responsibilities, and measures of success.

• Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into organizational priorities and performance.

• Facilitate cross-functional teams, identify barriers and risks, and help keep projects moving toward successful implementation.

Clinical Informatics

• Serve as GCMH's primary local clinical informatics resource and a key connection between GCMH teams and UnityPoint Health technology and informatics resources.

• Partner with practitioners and clinical teams to improve EHR workflows, usability, efficiency, and adoption.

• Coordinate local support, troubleshooting, testing, implementation, education, and optimization of the EHR and other clinical technologies.

Artificial Intelligence Adoption, Governance, & Enablement

• Lead and coordinate GCMH's adoption of approved AI, automation, and emerging technology solutions.

• Coordinate evaluation, pilots, implementation, education, and measurement of approved solutions.

• Support responsible AI governance, policies, and standards in alignment with UnityPoint Health requirements.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, health informatics, business administration, information technology, or related field.

Experience:

• Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare, clinical informatics, project/program management, technology implementation, operations, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong project management, facilitation, communication, analytical, organizational, and change-management skills.

• Ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.

• Knowledge of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple organizational priorities.
