About the role

HealthFitness is looking for experienced Personal Trainers to join the fitness team at a client site in Detroit, Michigan ! In this role, you'll work one-on-one with clients to create customized fitness programs, provide expert coaching, and inspire lasting lifestyle changes.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, up to 25 hours per week

  • Hours based on client appointments

Facility Operating Hours:

  • Monday through Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Responsible for designing customized workout programs and training members based on their needs. Responsible for conducting fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of results, providing one-on-one personal training to members, and educating them about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training, as well as the proper and safe use of applicable equipment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.

  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.

  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

This is a commissioned position. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
