The Engine Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating engine sales orders and inventory orders.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage upfront and post-sale credits in Caterpillar systems for applicable sales related to focus programs.

  • Process approved sales orders and revisions.

  • Maintain and submit CAT requirements for Tier 4 pairings post audit and replacement engine orders working with applications and project management teams.

  • Issue PO’s for CAT non-factory orders and rig-up shop work orders.

  • Process engine related vendor invoices for payment.

  • Review CAT Factory order acknowledgements and update applicable information in Warren and Caterpillar systems.

  • Monitor and make adjustments to sales backlog for reporting and financial visibility.

  • Monitor orders in WCAT/Caterpillar systems and import CAT orders report.

  • Process delivery orders and inventory control transactions.

  • Manage and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.

  • Complete closing summaries/deal sheets including adding and removing cost estimates as needed.

  • Review and analyze monthly gross profit of sales after final invoicing to create a monthly report for management after reviewing all discrepancies.

  • Manage CAT inventory report and internal late delivery summary.

  • Track discrepancies in CAT and Warren systems.

  • Attend safety, production, and team meetings as required.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Business Degree or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Basic computer skills with programs such as Word for Windows, Lotus, Excel, Power Point, etc. are required.

  • Must have the ability to listen effectively and understand employee usage concerns and formulate a decision to resolve the issues.
