Director of Talent Management

Large Nonprofit Organization | Hybrid Schedule

A large nonprofit organization is seeking a Director of Talent / TA Manager to lead recruiting strategy and oversee high-volume talent acquisition efforts across the organization. This is a key leadership role reporting to the Director of HR and managing a team of recruiters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals

  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters

  • Oversee high-volume, full-cycle recruitment across executive, clinical, professional, operational, educational, and mission-critical roles

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and hiring needs

  • Build proactive talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, university partnerships, and community outreach

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruiting process

  • Use recruiting data, market trends, and labor insights to improve hiring outcomes

  • Identify and implement recruiting process improvements, tools, and technology

  • Represent the organization at career fairs, conferences, and networking events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in HR, Business, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Communications, or related field

  • 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition or strategic recruiting experience within a similar field- non-profit, healthcare, government. Open to retail and manufacturing with a large employee size and open reqs!

  • Experience leading recruiting initiatives across multiple business functions with a large employee population that is an hourly workforce.

  • Strong background in high-volume recruitment environments with a large number of open requisitions (at least a min of 100 reqs ideally)

  • Proven experience managing recruiters and bringing strategy to a TA function
