Job Description

Saint Luke’s Physician Group in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician with Sports Medicine fellowship training to join a well-established outpatient practice in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

About the position:

•100% outpatient primary care practice with a sports medicine focus including 32 patient-facing hours and one dedicated administrative day each week

•Join a supportive, team-based practice that includes experienced physicians, specialty resources, and APPs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with an APP to provide high-quality care.

•Shared primary care call rotation with home call responsibilities only

  • Sports Medicine coverage for Sporting Kansas City (Sporting KC): Participate in a shared coverage model with a team of 4 to 5 physicians during the Sporting KC Academy season. Coverage responsibilities are rotated and typically include 2 to 3 games on assigned days. Home game coverage has ranged from approximately 6 weekends to 10 weekends.

  • Support of Sporting KC Academy athletes: Provide sports medicine care for Sporting KC Academy athletes, including pre-participation physicals, sideline coverage at home events, and ongoing player medical management during regular clinic hours.

•Access to a fully integrated Epic EMR platform, enhanced by DAX Copilot AI technology to streamline documentation and improve efficiency

•Saint Luke’s has an extremely competitive compensation package that includes a guaranteed salary with productivity incentives in addition to excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision & malpractice insurance, tax-deferred retirement plan with employer match, paid time off and a generous yearly CME allowance

•Candidate must have successfully completed or in the process of completing a Family Medicine residency program and a Sports Medicine fellowship
