Automation Technician

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Automation Technician on behalf of a client in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This individual will support automated equipment performance and production processes while partnering with engineering and operations on troubleshooting, process improvements, and project implementation. The role will help investigate production issues, improve equipment reliability, and support commissioning, qualification, and validation requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of automation experience with exposure to instrumentation, PLC and/or HMI programming, and highly automated equipment.

Skills and Requirements

-Minimum 2 years of automation experience -Experience with instrumentation, PLC and/or HMI programming -Experience supporting highly automated equipment -Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving ability in a production environment -High school diploma/GED -GMP manufacturing experience -Studio 5000 / FactoryTalk View SE programming experience -B&R platform experience -Parenteral/packaging equipment & manufacturing experience -Maximo or similar CMMS experience
