Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Training & Development Specialist for a top automotive manufacturing client. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing established training and development programs within a manufacturing environment, ensuring all training activities align with audit and compliance requirements. The Training & Development Specialist will partner closely with department managers to support employee development, oversee departmental trainers, and ensure training and testing processes are delivered consistently and effectively. This individual will not create training programs from scratch or directly conduct training, but will manage the overall training process by tracking completion, maintaining accurate records, gathering training data from department trainers, and ensuring all required training documentation is audit-ready and compliant with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support HR programs, policies, and procedures while ensuring compliance with corporate and local regulations.
- Develop and manage annual training plans aligned with business objectives and employee development needs.
- Track HR KPIs, analyze workforce metrics, and recommend process improvements.
- Lead and support HR projects across training and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, ethics, and information security standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years experience owning training & development for a manufacturing company
- Self-starter and proactive personality
- High level of proficiency in excel
- Hands on experience with Learning Management Systems
- Understanding of manufacturing audit requirements
- Proven experience creating learning paths, managing user records, and tracking training compliance and reporting
- Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing
