Full job description

Overview

At Monte Rosa Therapeutics, we’re excited to seek a dedicated Compound Manager to join our team. You’ll play a pivotal role within our Compound Management Team, working closely with colleagues to deliver compounds in a variety of formats for the Screening Teams. Your expertise will directly support the characterization of innovative small molecule glue-based degraders and drive the advancement of our expanding pipeline. Responsibilities

  • Provide Compound Management support for storage, retrieval and distribution of compounds

  • Manually produce solutions from milligram amounts of neat compounds

  • Prepare compound plates using a robotic system

  • Track various transfer steps through the use of a software

  • Maintain lab and ensure equipment is clean and safe

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of applicable experience within Chemistry laboratory setting

  • BSc/MSc degree in Chemistry or in a related scientific discipline is preferred; experienced Chemielaborant with relevant laboratory experience will also be considered.

  • Hands-on experience in Sample Management, with a good understanding of relevant processes and workflows.

  • Experience with LIMS and laboratory automation.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in laboratory work and documentation.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken
