Job Title: 2nd Shift Logistics Supervisor

Salary Range: $80-88k plus OT after 45 hours

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm with OT as needed

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Industry: automotive manufacturing

Responsibilities:

Manage shipping and receiving areas in order to meet customer requirements.

Supervise preparation area and the loading of finished product on trucks.

Ensures supplies to production lines while driving safety, quality, cost and delivery of assigned shift.

Maintain processes per the process control plans and ensure associates are following the standards.

Develop, implement, and evaluate continuous improvement plans.

Consistently apply policies and procedures.

Continually work to understand the customer's requirements in terms of quality and delivery.

Requirements :

5+ years’ experience in automotive logistics and technical supervision of logistics/shipping/receiving department(s)

Ability to deploy structured problem-solving processes in logistics department

Good interpersonal and organizational skills

Adequate leadership training or secondary education

Must be a team player, flexible, and have good communication skills

Computer skills, problem-solving skills

Ability to manager priorities and demonstrate a high-level reactivity in critical situations

**Must be authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time

**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
