Full job description

Description

Main Function: Provide and/or assist in nursing care of patients under the supervision of an R.N. Record patient information regarding patient’s condition, and report unusual findings to responsible R.N. Administer IM and oral medications, pharmacy prepared I.V. meds.

Requirements: Licensed Practical Nurse; BLS Required

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: One (1) year of acute care experience (Labor and Delivery preferred) (Obtained through SOAHC-PN clinicals if applicable or through work experience) or two (2) years of work experience in another healthcare facility is required. Should be able to demonstrate the following skills: communication, time-management and organization, problem-solving, teamwork and collaboration, and basic nursing knowledge.
