Pay Range:

$55,600.00 - $91,450.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the month end close by preparing journal entries and accruals; estimating amount to accrue, defer, reverse or change based upon historical data and knowledge of business

  • Reconciles account balances for assigned accounts and prepares supporting documentation

  • Calculates royalties and rebates for a set of assigned accounts and prepares supporting documentation for review

  • Research discrepancies and issues working with other team members to resolve

  • Gathers support for interim, SOX, and year end audit requests

  • Perform various Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable functions working cross functionally and independently driving tasks to completion

  • Continue to improve internal process and documentation clarity

  • Continuously look to increase efficiency through process automation

  • Partner with other functions to improve end to end process understanding and communications

  • Act as back up for other accounting staff to ensure proper staffing needs are met and to enable achievement of staff department goals

Education and Experience:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience (can be internships or part-time jobs) or an Associate's degree in Accounting with 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience or a combination of education and relevant experience providing equivalent knowledge.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel (experience with formulas, pivot tables, multi-faceted Excel spreadsheets, etc.) and have a strong numeric aptitude.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or UIPath is a plus.

  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment, be detailed orientated, and possess good communications and problem solving skills.
