Schedule: Part time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 101 HOSPITAL DR City: COLUMBUS State: North Carolina Postal Code: 28722 Job Description:
Adheres to infection control standards, use hospital-approved PPE and disinfectant agents, and minimize radiation exposure. Assists with data collection for process improvement projects and contribute ideas for departmental improvements. Completes required education in a timely manner and attend department meetings to promote positive dialogue and meet objectives. Identifies patient teaching needs and provide education on a planned or spontaneous basis. Demonstrates knowledge of the levels of growth and skills for the neonate/infant (0-1 year), Pediatric (1-12 years), adolescent (12-18 years), and geriatric (65+ years). Other duties as assigned. Documents and reports all procedures and assessments according to department policy. Obtains and evaluates nursing history, including initial and follow-up assessments, pain screening, and signs of abuse or neglect. Assesses patients for age-appropriate behavior, motor skills, physiological norms, and developmental levels. Identifies individualized plans of care based on patient needs and evaluate the availability of support systems. Administers treatments and medications, interpret and verify physician orders, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies and investigate questionable situations.

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent customer care service [Required]
- Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology [Required]
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical administration and its effects [Required]
- BLS and ACLS [Required]
- EKG [Required]
- Basic computer skills including EMHR (Cerner) proficiency [Required]
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing [Required]
Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
Work Experience:
- 1+ interventional radiology experience [Preferred]
- 1+ recent critical care experience [Required]
Additional Information:
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
