Pay Range:

$63,500.00 - $104,450.00

Position Summary:

Advanced Cell Diagnostics, a Bio-Techne Brand, has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant, based in our Newark, CA office. This role will be responsible for daily accounts payable transactions, month-end accounting close activities and adhoc projects. A successful candidate would have strong accounting fundamentals and is self-motivated, dedicated, detail oriented, and eager to learn and grow in his/her career with the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices & payment transactions (check run & wires/ACH) – with focus on compliance, accuracy, efficiency & timeliness.

  • Liaison with department heads for approvals, purchasing team and receiving team.

  • Manage vendor relationship by monitoringtimely payments & resolving open issues.

  • Assist in month-end close activities, account reconciliation and analysis, journal entries, audit requests

  • Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and enhance efficiency

  • Support the team with other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting /business / financeor an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing company

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft suite and Excel: vlookup, if function, pivot table etc.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Reliable, dedicated, detail-oriented and able to work independently
