Job Description
- Partner with clinical, operational, and informatics stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable Epic Clarity reports.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Epic Clarity reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support patient care, operational performance, and decision-making.
- Write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries against Epic Clarity databases to validate data and deliver reporting solutions.
- Analyze clinical data across Epic modules such as Willow, Specialty Pharmacy, ADT, EpicCare, and Orders to identify trends and support business initiatives.
- Work directly with end users to gather requirements, refine report specifications, and ensure reporting outputs meet stakeholder expectations.
- Validate report accuracy, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and support ongoing enhancements to existing reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with Epic application teams, analytics teams, and business stakeholders on new reporting requests, system updates, and data initiatives.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests while managing a pipeline of ongoing report development and optimization projects.
Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of Epic reporting and analytics experience
- Strong Epic Clarity Report Writer / Clinical Data Analyst background
- Advanced report writing experience within Epic
- Strong understanding of Epic Clarity Data Models
- SQL experience for querying and analyzing data
- Experience working with clinical data within Epic in any clinical module such as: Willow Pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy, ADT, EpicCare, Orders, etc
- Ability to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with SlicerDicer
