Full job description
Qualified candidates may have the opportunity to participate in our student loan repayment program, which can repay up to $20,000, subject to eligibility and program guidelines.
Job Summary:
Provides occupational therapy services for patients under the direction and supervision of the Director, Assistant Director, and or Clinical Supervisor or designee.
Essential Responsibilities:

Assumes the responsibility as outlined in the Occupational Therapists job summary and responsibilities.

Provides department in-service as requested by management (e.g., journal club presentation, and or regular in-service presentation).

Serves as a clinical instructor as requested by management.

Assists in orientation and training of employees as needed.

Provides consultation to staff.
-
May act as a mentor for staff.
-
May provide input into the clinical competency of staff.
-
Identifies process Improvement opportunities.
-
May assist in the development and implementation of new clinical practice models for the delivery of care.
-
Participates in performance improvement projects or other committees as requested by management.
-
May be involved in the clinical competency of COTAs and Rehab Aides.
-
May monitor the work of contract therapists and the treatment of patients in Kaiser and non-Kaiser facilities.
-
Performs other duties as required within scope of practice.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as an occupational therapist required.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree with certification in occupational therapy or foreign trained equivalent
License, Certification, Registration

Occupational Therapist License (California) required at hire

Basic Life Support
-
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Additional Requirements:

Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements

Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
