Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our civil engineering team in Auburn, Alabama. This is a client-facing role with full ownership of project delivery, team leadership, and business development. The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with experience in residential and commercial land development who is ready to step into a leadership position and grow with a high performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage 10+ active civil engineering projects simultaneously
  • Serve as primary client contact for all assigned projects
  • Seal and stamp civil engineering plans and deliverables
  • Set project schedules, track milestones, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage billing and invoicing for all assigned projects
  • Represent clients at planning commission and city council meetings
  • Conduct quality control review on all project deliverables
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3, with growth expected

Skills and Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Alabama; Georgia licensure preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of civil engineering project management experience
  • Experience in residential subdivision and commercial land development
  • Strong client communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Horizontal construction experience - site design, predevelopment Infrastructure, roadway, bridges design/construction experience
