Job Description

Oversee accounting, budgeting, payroll, cash flow, investments, financial reporting, and internal controls. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, grant, and audit requirements. Lead procurement, contract management, and financial reporting processes. Direct annual audits and maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and funding agencies. Supervise and develop finance staff, ensuring departmental goals and performance standards are met. Advise leadership on financial decisions, fiscal policies, risk management, and operational improvements. Monitor funding opportunities and support strategic initiatives that advance the organization's mission. Present financial information to boards, committees, and external stakeholders as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience. 3+ years of leadership or management experience. Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and credit check. Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA and/or CPFO certification. Governmental accounting, grant management, and GAAP experience.
