Job Description

Material Planning and Logistics Supervisor

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay: $37.94+/hour

We're seeking an experienced Material Planning & Logistics Supervisor for a temporary assignment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is ideal for candidates with experience in logistics, production planning, inventory control, supply chain operations, warehouse management, and team supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support an hourly production and logistics team

Coordinate material flow and workflow to meet production schedules

Monitor safety, quality, and productivity performance standards

Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements

Build strong working relationships with employees, union representatives, and leadership teams

Use Microsoft Office tools to track performance metrics, production data, and operational reports

Qualifications

1+ year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, material planning, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

High School Diploma or GED required

Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to achieving operational goals
