Full job description
Director of Multi-Site Clinic Operations (Chiropractic)
If you are a hands-on healthcare operator who knows how to turn clinic-level execution into measurable results, this is a chance to become the operating leader for a growing Phoenix-area chiropractic and outpatient care platform. You will step into a founder-led environment where strong clinics already have real momentum, while other locations need sharper management cadence, clearer standards, better accountability, and a leader who can build the operating system for the next stage of growth.
Opportunity
This is a field-based, onsite leadership role across multiple Phoenix-area clinics, including locations in Phoenix, Tempe, and Gilbert. You will report directly to the Owner/CEO and serve as the day-to-day operating link between executive leadership, clinic leaders, providers, and front-line teams.
The mission is not to sit in a corporate office and review reports from a distance. The right leader will be visible in clinics, close to the numbers, close to the people, and comfortable moving between strategic operating design and practical execution. You will inherit a strong patient-centered culture in the best-performing locations, diagnose what is not working elsewhere, and create the structure, cadence, and accountability needed to scale.
What You Will Own
Multi-Site Clinic Operations
-
Own day-to-day operations across Phoenix-area clinic locations.
-
Build, refine, and enforce the operating playbook, SOPs, management cadence, dashboards, and clinic-level accountability routines.
-
Identify the operational gaps between high-performing and underperforming clinics, then implement practical fixes that improve consistency.
-
Standardize expectations across locations while preserving the high-energy, patient-centered culture already working in the strongest clinics.
-
Stay close enough to clinic workflow to understand what is really happening at the front desk, with providers, and across the patient journey.
Managers, Teams, and Accountability
-
Manage managers and front-line leaders, including coaching, development, performance accountability, and talent upgrades when needed.
-
Help clinic leaders become stronger operators by setting expectations, training standards, inspecting execution, and following through consistently.
-
Lead with energy, credibility, and warmth while maintaining clear accountability for performance.
-
Participate in hiring, interviews, staff development, and retention efforts by representing a compelling growth story and a high-standard culture.
-
Build trust with providers and teams by being present, practical, and solutions-oriented.
Financial, KPI, and Four-Wall Performance
-
Own or materially drive location-level budgets, P&L performance, staffing models, scheduling, provider capacity, patient flow, and clinic productivity.
-
Track and improve clinic-level KPIs tied to revenue, conversion, retention, collections, front-desk execution, and operational consistency.
-
Bring financial and operating discipline without becoming overly corporate or disconnected from the clinic floor.
-
Use data to identify bottlenecks, prioritize the highest-impact fixes, and hold teams accountable to measurable outcomes.
Revenue Cycle and Patient Operations
-
Partner across billing, collections, denials, AR, charge capture, and payer-sensitive workflows to improve revenue-cycle execution.
-
Strengthen front-desk processes that affect scheduling, conversion, patient experience, retention, and collections.
-
Improve provider capacity, utilization, patient flow, and site-level productivity.
-
Make sure clinic teams understand how their daily execution connects to patient care, financial performance, and growth.
Growth Readiness
-
Build the management infrastructure needed for future locations and a broader growth platform.
-
Create repeatable systems that can scale without losing the local, high-energy clinic feel.
-
Solve operational problems directly and bring leadership clear recommendations, not unresolved escalations.
-
Step into the role with enough leadership experience to operate autonomously without needing founder-level training on core management fundamentals.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
You may be a strong match if you have:
-
Healthcare operations experience in a patient-facing environment.
-
Direct multi-site operating authority, ideally across several outpatient clinics or practices.
-
Experience managing managers, site leaders, clinic managers, or equivalent operational leaders.
-
Measurable ownership of budgets, P&L, KPIs, revenue, staffing, scheduling, productivity, or four-wall performance.
-
Revenue-cycle fluency, including billing, denials, collections/AR, charge capture, front-desk execution, or payer-sensitive workflows.
-
A track record of improving patient flow, provider productivity, conversion, retention, utilization, or clinic-level execution.
-
The ability to coach people, set standards, enforce accountability, and improve team performance without losing warmth or trust.
-
Comfort working in a founder-led, growth-stage environment where some infrastructure exists and some still needs to be built.
-
The motivation to be hands-on inside clinics rather than managing only through layers, reports, or corporate support teams.
Transferable Backgrounds
Chiropractic or musculoskeletal care experience is highly relevant, but the team is also open to strong operators from adjacent outpatient healthcare environments with similar patient flow, provider operations, site leadership, and revenue-cycle complexity. Relevant backgrounds may include:
-
Multi-site chiropractic, physical therapy, MSK, or rehab operations.
-
Physician practice or outpatient clinic management.
-
Dental, urgent care, behavioral health, fertility, or other ambulatory healthcare operations.
-
Regional or general management roles where you directly owned site leaders and clinic-level performance.
The key is that you have personally owned the work: people leadership, site execution, measurable operating results, and the practical realities of running patient-facing clinics.
Location and Work Model
This role is onsite and field-based across Phoenix-area clinics, including Phoenix, Tempe, and Gilbert, Arizona. The role requires a leader who is comfortable spending meaningful time in clinics with managers, providers, and front-line teams.
Why This Role Is Different
This is a build-and-operate role for someone who wants real ownership. You will not be stepping into a fully corporate, heavily resourced system where every process is already defined. You will be expected to bring structure, judgment, urgency, and people leadership to a platform with strong existing locations and meaningful room to improve.
For the right operator, the appeal is clear: direct access to the Owner/CEO, meaningful control over clinic performance, a visible impact on teams and patients, and the chance to help create the operating foundation for future growth.
Compensation
The expected total compensation range is USD 110,000–135,000 Yearly.
