Full job description

Job Description

As discussed, we are looking to attract a strong, high-caliber candidate for our New Jersey team and are open to considering contractors as part of our hiring strategy. To ensure we remain competitive in the market and can secure the level of talent required for this role, could you please provide current market compensation data for comparable positions within the greater New York/New Jersey metropolitan area?

Based on the candidates we have reviewed thus far, we may be targeting compensation levels below current market expectations for senior corporate action associates, particularly if we are looking to remain under the 100p/h all in range. Understanding the prevailing market rates will help us align our hiring strategy and improve our ability to attract top talent.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of Voluntary Corporate Actions experience within a broker-dealer, investment bank, or asset servicing environment, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end corporate action lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of voluntary elections and arbitrage events, including processing elections, entitlements, and managing complex/high-risk corporate action events.
  • Risk and reconciliation expertise, including cash/stock reconciliations, identifying operational risk, maintaining controls, and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment, managing high event volumes, strict market deadlines, and daily interaction with trading desks, operations teams, and external counterparties. Strong analytical and technology skills, including proficiency in Excel and corporate action platforms (DTC/CDS/BPS preferred), with an interest in automation, AI, and process improvement initiatives.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or the recruiting process, please send a request to [email protected].
