Full job description

Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Day: 6am - 2:30pm; Monday - Friday

$21/hr

Swing: 2pm - 10:30pm; Monday - Friday

$22.05/hr

Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for pulling and staging customer orders accurately based on pick tickets or system instructions. You will load and unload trucks following proper loading patterns and delivery schedules, and operate sit-down forklifts to move, stage, and organize materials. Additionally, you will perform cycle counts, assist with inventory tracking and accuracy, and verify order accuracy, labels, and documentation prior to shipment. Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse area to support safety and efficiency is also a key part of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and stage customer orders accurately based on pick tickets or system instructions.

  • Load and unload trucks while following proper loading patterns and delivery schedules.

  • Operate sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize materials.

  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory tracking and accuracy.

  • Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track product movement and verify orders.

  • Verify order accuracy, labels, and documentation prior to shipment.

  • Maintain clean, organized warehouse areas to support safety and efficiency.

  • Assist with receiving, put-away, and general warehouse support tasks.

  • Follow all safety procedures and work efficiently in a team environment.

Essential Skills

  • Material handling experience.

  • Previous warehouse experience of 2+ years in order picking, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.

  • Forklift operation experience, specifically sit-down forklift.

  • Experience using RF scanners or inventory systems is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on order accuracy.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Inventory control and tracking skills.

  • Experience with production and sit-down forklift operation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.05/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
