Job Description

A client of Insight Global in the retail and technology industry is seeking a PM II supporting capacity expansion projects across the US. This role is focused heavily on project coordination, reporting, tracking, and stakeholder management rather than execution. The Program Manager will serve as the on-site liaison between the customer and GC partners while managing project data, scorecards, and timelines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating tracking mechanisms and reporting tools
  • Developing daily scorecards and project updates
  • Managing capacity expansion projects
  • Supporting shelving additions, modifications, and demolition projects
  • Reviewing current state, future state, and phasing plans
  • Acting as the liaison between Amazon and GC partners

Travel & Schedule

  • Nearly 100% travel nationwide (not regionally aligned)
  • Flexible schedule: M-W or M-Th travel
  • Frequent overnight stays
  • Average 45-hour work week
  • Project timing driven by permitting approvals

Skills and Requirements

  • 3- 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Strong experience with project tracking, reporting, dashboards, and scorecards
  • Able to thrive in ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable with nearly 100% travel and overnight work
  • Strong accountability and solution-oriented mindset
  • Construction or pre-construction experience
  • Industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or fulfillment center experience
  • Experience reviewing design drawings and phasing plans
  • Military leadership background
  • Experience working alongside General Contractors
