Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to support the reliability, automation, and performance of business-critical platforms hosted in Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, system monitoring, automated deployments, and production support. It is primarily an infrastructure and reliability position rather than an application-development role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
- Manage and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service environments
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace and Azure tools
- Respond to production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and prevent recurring issues
- Automate routine operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Support infrastructure as code through Terraform and Azure Bicep
- Maintain cloud security, documentation, and disaster-recovery procedures
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, cloud operations, or platform engineering
- 3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience supporting large-scale production systems
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and incident response
