Summary

This position is part of the Defense Support Services Center, Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for Planning and developing training to impact and sustain knowledge and skills required by DoD travelers, authorizing officials and other travel support personnel.

Duties

As a Program Analyst at the GS-0343-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Performs program management responsibilities for the DoD Travel Training Program in Distance Learning, Web-based and reference materials modalities to include the planning, development, implementation, delivery and evaluation. Provide program metrics development in support of the DoD Travel Training Program using Excel and Tableau. Provide DoD component support for enterprise training program (such as the Enterprise Web Training System). Author DoD Travel Training content as enhancements or updates required by changes to laws, regulations, or system changes are implemented. Participate in events and support initiatives related to travel enterprise topics related to training and system use. Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Analyze the functionality of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and make recommendations for changes and improvements to the system and travel training resources. Provide virtual training on DTS functionality and administration/management (e.g. for roles of DTS Authorizing Official or Defense Travel Administrator), plus on the Joint Travel Regulations. Write and update training resources on DTS functionality for all DTS roles and the Joint Travel Regulation. . Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. How You Will Be Evaluated
