In the nose and gingiva they protect against nasal inflammation and periodontal disease, respectively. The candidate will be responsible for projects involving small animal (mouse) handling, and experiments of molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, cell culture, calcium imaging, immunology, and physiology. The candidate will work on a grant funded project and may develop an independent but related project and seek external funding. Research Associate positions at the university are contingent upon grant funding.

The successful applicant will have a Ph.D., 3-5 years postdoctoral training and experience in animal models of disease, molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, cell culture, calcium imaging, immunology, and physiology.

Applicants are required to apply via the Interfolio posting.
