Position Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Business Systems Analyst – IT Solutions for a top enterprise client. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and third-party vendors, helping ensure technology initiatives are driven by business needs rather than a specific platform or solution. The ideal candidate has strong experience gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and evaluating technology solutions. This person will help identify process improvements, support software selection efforts, document clear requirements, and guide projects through implementation while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Day-to-Day:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and business objectives

• Conduct discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements gathering meetings

• Document current and future-state business processes and workflows

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency

• Develop requirements, use cases, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria

• Coordinate vendor evaluations, RFPs, demos, and solution assessments

• Work with IT teams and vendors to ensure requirements are clearly understood

• Support UAT, training, implementation readiness, and post-go-live activities

• Track requirements, scope changes, risks, dependencies, and project decisions

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with Power Platform / M365 experience

• Experience working in an Enterprise environment

• Strong experience conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions

• Experience documenting business processes, workflows, use cases, business rules, and acceptance criteria

• Ability to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements

• Experience evaluating business applications and participating in software/vendor selection processes

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and documentation skills

• Experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, executives, and external vendors

• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and business units simultaneously

• Experience supporting UAT and validating solutions against business requirements Plusses:

• Merger and Acquisition experience

• Experience with enterprise SaaS implementations or digital transformation initiatives

• Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power BI, or Power Automate experience

• Familiarity with integrations, APIs, data modeling, security, and workflow automation

• Experience supporting RFPs, RFIs, vendor evaluations, and product demonstrations

• Agile methodology experience

• Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar process-mapping tools

Change management and implementation support experience
