LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE
ELEMENTARY TEACHER VACANCY
The following position is posted in accordance with the negotiated agreement:
POSITION:1.0 FTE Long-Term Substitute Elementary Teacher
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:NYS Certification Childhood Education Gr. 1-6
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction aligned with New York State Learning Standards.

Strong understanding of foundational literacy and mathematics skills.

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of all learners.

Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.

Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.

Ability to use student data to inform instruction and monitor student progress.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
