Robert Half has partnered with a well-established organization to hire a Lead Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who is ready to take on a broader role with greater ownership, visibility, and impact. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial statement support, and multi-entity accounting, and who is ready to step into a lead-level role with increased responsibility in month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and process improvement. Position Overview

This Senior Accountant will play a key role in the preparation, review, analysis, and adjustment of financial statements. In addition to owning core accounting functions, this person will help support month-end and year-end close, budgeting, account analysis, and process consistency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and periodic reconciliations across multiple entities and accounts

• Prepare and review daily cash reports and cash balance activity

• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, account analyses, and adjusting entries

• Reconcile general ledger activity and ensure accuracy across multiple balance sheet and income statement accounts

• Support budgeting and forecast preparation

• Assist with year-end close, audit support, and preparation of work papers

• Help identify process improvements and strengthen consistency in accounting workflows and reconciliations

• Serve as a resource to other staff and assist with reviewing work or answering day-to-day accounting questions as needed

• Partner with accounting leadership on special projects and ad hoc reporting

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate accounting

• Previous supervisory oversight

• Strong familiarity with balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management

• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize effectively, and work independently

• Must possess strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach

• Microsoft Excel proficiency is a necessity
