Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Lead to serve as the primary interface between Manufacturing and Facilities teams during a major manufacturing expansion project. This individual will coordinate activities related to new manufacturing line installations, facility modifications, equipment delivery, scheduling, and budget management. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. Responsibilities include supporting project planning, developing quotes, coordinating contractors, and maintaining project schedules. The Project Lead will play a key role in preparing facilities for new manufacturing equipment, including interior building modifications and infrastructure readiness. This position will be heavily involved in the early planning and execution phases of the project. Candidates should have experience supporting manufacturing equipment commissioning, new production lines, or similar large-scale manufacturing initiatives. Experience supporting both manufacturing and construction-related projects is highly preferred.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of project engineering, project management, or project lead experience in a manufacturing or facilities environment.
  • Experience supporting new manufacturing line installations, equipment commissioning, or manufacturing expansion projects.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, facilities, vendors, and contractors.
  • Strong experience managing project schedules, budgets, and equipment-related activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience supporting construction projects related to manufacturing facility modifications or expansions.
  • Experience working on projects involving both manufacturing equipment and facility/building upgrades.
  • Experience with vendor management, contractor coordination, and project quoting activities.
  • Experience with facility fit-outs, interior modifications, or preparing building infrastructure for new manufacturing lines.
  • Local candidate preferred to support on-site coordination and avoid relocation delays.
