Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Managed Care Department activities. The Analyst will receive, investigate, and process in-house and payor inquiries. The Analyst will be responsible for customer service/provider service resolution, maintaining key contract databases and contract files to both internal and external parties, as appropriate. The position will run various reports, perform data analysis, and summarize results for management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
-
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office product, including higher level knowledge with Excel spreadsheets for data analysis purposes.

Graphic presentation skills

Ability to demonstrate attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, oral, written and by use of telephone

Excellent customer service skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting or independently as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Health care experience with contracting knowledge and terminology
-
Strong typing, written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum of two years’ experience in conducting research (preferred related to managed care operations in hospital, health system, or healthcare operations).
