Full job description

Description

Responsibilities Level 1:

  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical

  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule.

  • Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.

  • Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production.

  • Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service.

  • Maintain good housekeeping in all areas.

  • Handle company equipment with care.

  • Responds quickly to inquiries and follows up as needed.

  • Is available to work overtime when required, including weekends.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support Manager.

Qualifications Level 1:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience

  • Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and have the ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly.

  • Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, technical documents, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

  • Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.

  • Must exhibit professionalism when communicating with superiors and subordinates.

  • Must be able to pay attention to detail.
