Job Description

Insight Global is currently looking to hire a Housing Coordinator within our clients Long - Term Housing division. As a Housing Coordinator in our clients Long-Term Housing group, you serve as the critical link between insurance policyholders, landlords, and insurance companies during some of the most stressful moments of a person's life. When a home becomes unlivable due to events ranging from local plumbing disasters to major natural catastrophes like fires or hurricanes, you step in to manage the entire relocation process on a nationwide scale. Your day-to-day involves high-level logistics, such as coordinating move-ins and move-outs, calculating rent and lease terms, and even arranging furniture deliveries to ensure the temporary space feels like a home. Because you are assisting families who have often lost their sense of security, this role requires a balance of sharp administrative accuracy and deep emotional empathy to navigate sensitive conversations and advocate for the policyholder’s needs until they can finally return home.

Day to Day:

Handling approximately 60 inbound and outbound calls and managing 100–150 emails daily to support temporary housing arrangements Documenting detailed records of all interactions in the ACT database, including correspondence summaries, contact information, and issue resolutions Tracking key milestones such as move-out dates, lease expiration notifications, and furniture pickup schedules Assisting policyholders with lease extensions, early terminations, and new housing arrangements Assisting with inbound calls through the Move-Out Call (MOC) queue, resolving requests and inquiries efficiently Partnering with the Furniture Coordinator and Move-Out Department to address escalations and housing-related issues

Compensation:

$20/hr. to $22/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements

2-3 years call center customer service experience. They prefer those who have background in finance CSR (billing, collections, banking etc) Must have really good communication skills, able to handle escalations and irate customers since they'll be dealing directly with customers who are in a stressful situation. Detail oriented and must be able to work fast paced. Comfortable making inbound and outbound calls Leasing, property management, relocation, hospitality, scheduling, or insurance experience Familiarity with the ACT program or similar CRM systems preferred Experience in temporary housing
