Overview
The Frontline Safety Administrator provides bilingual administrative and field support to the ABM Safety Department for electrical hard services, tool installation, and construction activities. This position maintains accurate safety records, scans and organizes project documentation, supports training and communication, tracks action items, and helps ensure that safety information is current, accessible, and properly documented.
Pay: $36

Responsibilities
-
Provide daily administrative support to the Safety Manager, Safety Leads, and Safety Specialists.

Scan, name, index, upload, and retrieve safety records using FileScan Pro and approved project filing systems.

Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy files for toolbox talks, sign-in sheets, orientations, training, inspections, audits, permits, corrective actions, and incident documentation.

Verify documents are complete, legible, dated, signed, and filed in the correct location; identify missing information for follow-up.

Prepare, format, update, and distribute safety communications, memos, lessons learned, training handouts, and site notices.

Assist with creating and updating PowerPoint presentations, training materials, forms, rosters, and bilingual safety documents.

Use Excel to maintain training matrices, inspection trackers, corrective-action logs, headcount support records, equipment/LOTO logs, and other safety data.

Support the scheduling and documentation of orientations, retraining, stand-downs, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
-
Translate or communicate safety information in English and Spanish so employees and subcontractors understand site expectations.

Coordinate with Operations, Foremen, Procurement, Logistics, Quality Control, Site EHS, and subcontractor teams to collect and close documentation requirements.

Assist with preparation of weekly safety summaries, KPI information, audit packages, and responses to client documentation requests.

Protect confidential employee, medical, personnel, and investigation-related information and share it only with authorized personnel.
Electrical and Construction Safety Support
-
Understand the purpose of PTP/JHA documentation, permit records, LOTO/lockbox documentation, energized electrical work controls, and required training records.

Support documentation for electrical safety, fall protection, ladders, scaffolds/working platforms, PPE, hot work, housekeeping, and other high-risk activities.

Help track inspection due dates, color-code requirements, equipment records, and corrective actions; escalate overdue items to the Safety Manager or Safety Lead.

Support field teams by providing current forms and training materials while maintaining document-control accuracy.
Qualifications
-
Strong ability to read and write professional English documentation, emails, reports, forms, and training materials.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and electronic file-management systems.

Ability to learn and use FileScan Pro for document scanning, indexing, retrieval, and quality control.
-
Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive records professionally.
-
Ability to work independently and communicate respectfully with employees, foremen, managers, clients, and subcontractors.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in construction, electrical work, semiconductor, data center, industrial, or project-site safety administration.
-
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30; CPR/First Aid; NFPA 70E awareness; or other safety-related training.

Experience with safety audits, training records, corrective-action tracking, LOTO documentation, or client-specific compliance systems.

Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and explain safety information in both languages.

Physical and Work Environment

Stocking and organizing office and safety supplies in Connexes and office areas

Receiving, inspecting, sorting, and distributing packages

Lifting up to 30 p, carrying, pushing, and pulling orders and supplies

Using carts, team lifts, and safe material-handling practices
-
Maintaining clear exits, walkways, and emergency access
-
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
This is a site-based position requiring regular movement between offices, trailers, laydown areas, and active construction/FAB work areas. The employee must follow all required PPE, access, badging, housekeeping, and site safety rules and be able to use a computer, scanner, telephone, and standard office equipment for extended periods.
