Under the direction of the Director, Enterprise Applications, the AI Business Systems Analyst is responsible for identifying, designing, implementing, and supporting artificial intelligence solutions, intelligent automations, and enterprise applications that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and employee productivity across the organization.
This role partners with business stakeholders to identify high-value AI and automation opportunities, translate business challenges into practical technical solutions, and develop AI assistants, agents, workflows, and other AI-enabled capabilities. The Enterprise AI & Applications Analyst also supports the administration, integration, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications and business systems that serve as critical operational platforms and data sources for AI solutions. This position helps ensure AI and enterprise technology solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, supportable, appropriately governed, and capable of delivering measurable business value.
What You'll Do:
Partner with business stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, and process improvement initiatives
Translate business requirements into clearly defined AI use cases, solution designs, workflows, success measures, data requirements, risks, and implementation plans
Design, configure, test, deploy, monitor, and support AI assistants, agents, prompts, retrieval-based solutions, workflows, automations, and enterprise application enhancements using approved technologies and platforms
Develop and optimize prompts, knowledge sources, retrieval strategies, agent instructions, and other AI solution components to improve output quality, reliability, and user adoption
Build and support human-in-the-loop controls that allow appropriate review, approval, correction, escalation, or override of AI-generated outputs
Connect AI solutions to authorized enterprise applications, data sources, APIs, connectors, and integrations while maintaining appropriate security and governance controls
Support AI proofs of concept, pilots, experimentation efforts, and the transition of successful solutions into scalable, supportable production capabilities
Evaluate AI solution effectiveness through testing and established performance measures including accuracy, adoption, completion rates, time saved, user satisfaction, productivity improvements, and business outcomes
Research emerging AI technologies, tools, models, and industry trends and recommend opportunities for responsible adoption and practical business application
Support the administration, configuration, integration, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of assigned enterprise applications and business systems
Assist with user access, roles, permissions, data quality initiatives, workflow configuration, reporting, dashboards, release testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Collaborate with business owners, vendors, developers, security, compliance, and IT teams to resolve issues, deliver enhancements, and support reliable integrations between systems
Support organizational standards related to cybersecurity, data privacy, responsible AI, regulatory compliance, and enterprise technology governance
Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, standard operating procedures, governance materials, knowledge articles, and training resources that support AI and enterprise application adoption
Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned, including travel to orientation, company events, training opportunities, or other onsite meetings as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Demonstrated experience through academic, internship, research, project, or professional environments supporting AI-powered applications, automations, enterprise systems, or related technologies
Working knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, semantic search, agent frameworks, Model Context Protocol (MCP), workflow automation, and responsible AI practices
Understanding of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, databases, integrations, authentication, permissions, APIs, and software development or delivery methodologies
Understanding of AI platforms and technologies such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, OpenAI, Salesforce Agentforce, Anthropic Claude, Google Vertex AI, Amazon Bedrock, Power Platform, or similar technologies
Experience or exposure to enterprise applications and platforms such as CRM, ERP, CPQ, HRIS, customer service, analytics, or other enterprise SaaS solutions is preferred
Knowledge of data governance, cybersecurity, privacy requirements, healthcare technology, or other regulated business environments is preferred
Familiar with workflow automation tools, integration platforms, APIs, semantic search technologies, agent frameworks, or business process automation is preferred
Knowledge of common business processes across areas such as sales, marketing, customer success, finance, operations, contracting, onboarding, or customer support
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work through ambiguous challenges and develop practical solutions
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn unfamiliar business processes, data, and platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration, and team orientation
Ability to travel as required, up to 10%

Position Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this full-time role is $65,000- $100,000 USD + bonus + benefits + perks + community gains. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, education or training and other relevant qualifications.
