Manager, HR Programs - Remote

The Manager, HR Programs, is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day compensation programs and HR operational workflows, including internal employee onboarding, personnel changes, and compensation-driven process improvements. Supervisory Responsibilities : Oversees HR Specialist and Senior HR Analyst

Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Oversees day‑to‑day administration of compensation processes for onboarding, promotions, transfers, and other personnel actions.

  • Oversee compliance with client requirements for internal bench employees and manages escalations.

  • Collaborates with Talent Acquisition and Finance to ensure accuracy and consistency of job data, salary details, and compensation components.

  • Provides guidance to managers on offering compensation packages that are consistent, equitable, and aligned with company policies.

  • Maintains onboarding modules and templates within internal systems, ensuring content is accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with government standards.

  • Oversees data integrity in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across all HR data sources.

  • Oversee the People Analytics function and provide guidance when necessary.

  • Monitors compensation and reporting-related legislation and assess the impact on company policies and processes.

  • Contributes to HR initiatives that improve employee experience and operational efficiency.

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee a comprehensive library of job descriptions by ensuring each role has an accurate, up‑to‑date description and managing the organization, version control, and accessibility of all documents. Policy creation on various topics related to compensation and government compliance.

  • Ad hoc projects related to compensation and government compliance.

  • Support merger and acquisitions activities by overseeing integration and transfer of employee data and records.

Required Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and partnership skills with the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels.

  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive compensation and employee data. High level of discernment.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing business needs.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems with the ability to manage data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflow design.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation and government reporting laws. Knowledge of how to seek this information.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop direct reports.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and ongoing projects simultaneously.

  • Consistent follow-through and a flexible mindset.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, or a similar field.

  • 5+ years of experience in a HR Generalist or HR Specialist role with a focus on onboarding and/or total rewards. Experience with HR analytics and/or HRIS data management preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience of people management.

  • Professional Human Resources certification preferred.

Base Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

The base salary rate will be commensurate with previous experience and relevant skills and knowledge

This position includes additional variable compensation in the form of an annual bonus opportunity.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans, some with an Employer HSA contribution), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits, basic life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO consisting of 10 holidays, 5 sick days (or more if required by law in the state/locality where you work), 15+ days of vacation (based on tenure), bereavement leave, and 6-8 weeks paid maternity/disability leave and 2-4 weeks paid parental leave (based on tenure).
