Hatch is seeking aNuclear Engineering Intern. Reporting to the Energygroup, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location.

While flexibility is always provided to work remotely when needed, we encourage our teams to be in the office for most of the time. Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering

  • Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Solve challenging problems pertaining to nuclear energy technologies and power generating systems

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment

  • Actively participate in the creation of the deliverables, technical reports, and presentations to clients

  • Assist in the research and development of energy technologies

  • Gain valuable on-site practical experience

You bring to the role:

  • Willingness to travel and work onsite (including remote locations)

  • Previous co-op or internship experience is preferred

  • Perform assignments related to your sector

  • Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects

  • Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications

  • Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects

  • Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
