Full job description

This position currently offers up to $50,000 in signing bonus for both external applicants as well as internal per diem to full-time conversions!

Summary:

The diagnostic technologist, under the direction of a radiologist and imaging leadership, with minimum supervision, must maintain the daily function of the Diagnostic Radiology department, performing a variety of X-Ray procedures.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year preferred as a registered technologist.

Education & Licenses:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. AAS degree preferred.

  • ARRT(R) Certification required within six months

  • For NY sites: NYS DOH License for Radiologic Technologist

Essential Functions:

  • Performs Radiographic procedures using proper Radiologist protocols and standard workflows based on annual competencies.

  • Practices safe patient care

  • Performs proper equipment upkeep, including daily QA procedures

  • Utilizes radiation safety measures for patients and personnel.

  • Additional duties as assigned and warranted

  • On Call shifts where applicable

  • Oversee and instruct students in the clinical setting where applicable
