Industries Plant Supervisor (#012359) Lee Co0rrectional Inst, Bishopville (LEE) Level 3

• Under general supervision, responsible for the efficient operation of an industry program within a correctional setting for a potential multishift operation.
• Supervise employee/inmate workers.
• Screen, select, train and evaluate assigned personnel.
• Provide rehabilitation and self-improvement opportunities for inmates.
• Supervise activity within manufacturing operation.
• Responsible for the security of the workplace and to keep area safe for inmates, employees and the public.
• Serve as correctional officer in maintaining internal security.
• Supervise and perform administrative functions as assigned/required.
• Serve as plant manager when needed.
• Schedule subject to change.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
