Full job description

Description

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support customer service and transportation activities for the sales department in Torrance, California. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is confident managing import and export operations, coordinating shipment activity, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation. The role also involves close attention to billing details and timely data entry to help keep daily logistics processes organized and efficient.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate import and export shipments to ensure goods move efficiently and in compliance with customer and business requirements.

  • Provide day-to-day support to the sales team by responding to customer logistics questions and helping resolve shipping-related issues.

  • Prepare, review, and enter invoices, billing records, and bills of lading with a high level of accuracy.

  • Monitor shipping activity from origin through delivery and communicate status updates to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work with carriers, freight providers, and customs-related partners to support timely movement of international and domestic shipments.

  • Maintain organized logistics records and update shipment information in internal systems as part of routine operations.

  • Assist with transportation documentation and help address discrepancies involving freight, billing, or delivery details

Requirements • Previous experience in logistics coordination, distribution, or transportation support.

  • Working knowledge of import and export procedures, including shipping documentation.

  • Familiarity with customs-related processes and international freight coordination.

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to support sales and communicate effectively with multiple parties.

  • Experience handling invoice entry, billing support, and bills of lading.

  • Solid data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
