Position Highlights

POSITION SUMMARY: Works Closely with patients in rescheduling appointments, answering phones, taking messages, and routing calls.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

a. High School diploma or equivalent required.

b. Knowledge of medical terminology required or the completion of a medical terminology course in the first year of employment.

c. Six months of office experience, preferably in a medical setting.

d. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

e. Ability to work with people in a courteous and collegial manner.

f. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

g. Must be able to change work priorities and cope with constant interruptions.

h. Must have computer skills.
